Live Shows

Here is a list of all the known Beefheart live performances that have been recorded one way or another and have been circulating amongst collectors for many years.

The sound quality varies dramatically. Some are direct from the soundboard whilst others are audience recordings that are good, bad or dreadful. A few have been released legitimately ... but not nearly enough!

I have also included a few recordings of rehearsals. Although not strictly live shows they are the band playing live and this is as good a place to list them as anywhere.

Approximate timings, the songs performed, the musicians involved plus any other relevant information I thought might be of interest have been included.
